
Our Senior Minister, Jamie Broome, began serving Immanuel in 1993, after 10 years at First Baptist, Midway, Kentucky. He received his Bachelor of Arts degree from Carson Newman University, where he met his wife, Rita, and his Master of Divinity from the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Louisville, where he also did a Th.M. and doctoral work in church history. He is a native of South Carolina, and the Broomes have two sons, Chip and Rusty.

Chris Cash,
Minister of Youth, came to serve Immanuel in October 2001. He had previously served as Associate Minister of Youth and Discipleship at Cambridge Baptist Church in Richmond, VA, where he met his wife Susan. He is a graduate of Baptist Theological Seminary at Richmond and a native of Paducah. They have one daughter, Ella.

Steve Skaggs, Minister of Music, came to Immanuel in October, 2003 after serving at Valley View Baptist Church in Vine Grove, Kentucky for eleven years. Steve, a native of Buffalo, Kentucky, served churches in central Kentucky while working bivocationally for several years. He holds church music degrees from Campbellsville University and Southern Seminary. He and his wife Shirley have one son, Matthew, who lives with his wife Melissa in Lexington.

Christina Crice, Director of Children's Ministry, is a native of western Kentucky. She directs the preschool and children's ministries, as well as the afterschool and summer Encore programs. She and her husband, Jeff, were married in October 2003 and have one daughter, Caroline.

Erin Miller, Minister of Education & Spiritual Formation, came to Immanuel in June 2006. She is a graduate of Greenville College and a 2006 graduate of the Candler School of Theology at Emory University. She is a native of Collinsville, Illinois.

Nancy Holm, Office Assistant, has served Immanuel since August 2007. She and her husband Jimmy have one son, Hollan, and one daughter-in-law, Kate.

Lee McClure, Director of Preschool & Encore, has served in that capacity for a number of years. She and her husband Mark have 2 children, Drew and Shelby.

Chris Operle, Custodian, has served Immanuel since 1996. Chris and her husband John have two children, Derek and Katelyn, and she enjoys camping, cooking, gardening, and sewing.

Malissa Heath, Organist, has served Immanuel since September 1998. She is a graduate of Murray State University (Bachelor of Music Education) and University of Kentucky (Master of Music in Piano Performance). Malissa and her husband Wells have 2 children, Allison Russell (Ryan) and Jeffrey Heath (Shanna), and 3 grandchildren, Carter Russell, Dylan Russell, and Abigail Heath. Malissa also is a private piano teacher and faculty member at West Kentucky Community and Technical College.
Nancy Duke, Pianist,
has served as Immanuel Baptist Church Pianist for 16 years. In addition, she teaches music at Lone Oak Elementary, accompanies an area children's chorus, and teaches private piano lessons. She has 2 sons, Benjamin and Jonathan.
